WP LAVORI IN CORSO WILL START CELEBRATING ITS 30TH ANNIVERSARY WITH AN EXHIBITION AT ARTE FIERA: “DOUGLAS KIRKLAND 18 PORTRAITS FOR THE WOOLRICH 180TH ANNIVERSARY”

WP has always worked closely with world famous artists and photographers for communication purposes and for this important 30th anniversary it has decided to sponsor ArteFiera with the “Douglas Kirkland 18 portraits for the Woolrich 180th anniversary” exhibition.

To also celebrate the 180 years of the historical Woolrich brand, WP has chosen to work with the well-known photographer Douglas Kirkland, renowned for having taken among the most famous photos of Marylin Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, Jack Nicholson, Angelina Jolie, Antonio Banderas, and other important stars, with a special event: 18 portraits of creative characters, real “talented” American show business people and singers, each one with their own story to tell, wearing the iconic Woolrich Arctic Parka.

The characters whose pictures have been taken are: the philanthropist Victoria Greathead, the famous producer Benedict Coutler, the actor Andy Garcia with his daughter Dominik, the actress Elle Fanning (who starred in Somewhere by Sophia Coppola), Jenn Proske, the musician G-Mac Brown, the producer Lawrence Bender, actors Gabriel Garko, Brendan Fraser and Danny Houston, the model Aimee Mullins, the artist  Erika Lemay,  the photographer Lauren Greenfield, the co-president of Marvel Studios Louis D'Esposito.

The exhibition will be at ArteFiera (Tunnel 16-21-22), while the colour portraits will be displayed at the WP Store in Via Clavature 4, within the framework of ArteFiera Offwith a special opening of Saturday 28th January for the “Notte Bianca”.
